You must follow the track provided. If at some point the way is blocked by something unexpected (e.g. roadworks, landfalls, fallen trees) you can leave the track but you’ll have to rejoin it as soon as possible. You can also leave the track in case you need food, rest, shelter, but before you continue, you have to get back where you left it.
The route is briefly explained in this page but you will receive the official GPS file and the roadbook few weeks before the event.
Be self-sufficient, have your own tools with you. Know your bike. If the problem requires professional assistance, there are a couple of bike shops on route. Try to find the way out of situation you are in.
No. The event starts Sunday July 14th 10:00 a.m. From that moment you’ll be free to look for facilities and book anything you need.
It will be roughly 60% paved and 40% unpaved.

Yes you can. We do encourage people do to that before the start and after the finish. You will have access to shower, WC, cooking facilities. Also free car parking. There will be possibility to store your camping equipment while participating at Bright Midnight event.
YES, for sure! Most likely we will start having small parties/gathering time together before the cut time. Like last year we had people already leaving Thursday/Friday so it was sad they missed the party. We are thinking this year to spread a little bit and start having BBQ from Thursday.
